Full Time Developer

Looking for a person who is organized as a person and in programming. The position involves phone support of company-developed applications, must be able to work with customers and communicate issue to others when assistance in resolution is required.

Requirements:

• Object Oriented Design, schooling or work experience required
• 1 year Ruby on Rails
• SQL Experience - (1 year)
• Visual Basic Application Development Experience
• AJAX / JavaScript

Office is set up as a group environment, will work hand-in-hand with others.

Work Times: Tuesday to Friday 12:00pm – 9:00pm & Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Sales Person

This position is responsible for the maintenance and growth of the existing customer base as well as the development of new accounts. The majority of duties are performed on Long Island.

Key Position Responsibilities

• Contacts existing and prospective end customers by telephone, email and in person to maintain and grow sales
• Works with outside independent field representatives by telephone, email, fax, and in person, to deepen penetration at existing accounts and to develop new account engagements
• Acts as a liaison between customers and company, to quickly resolve customers' issues
• Answers customers' product inquiries and quotes price and delivery
• Processes customers' requests literature, and promotional items
• Promptly responds to qualified sales leads.
• Identifies target accounts and target markets.
• Monitors and guides activities of customers by analyzing input received and other feedback including monthly reports

Position requirements

Required

• Plant Operational experience, and 2-3 years industrial sales experience; or an equivalent combination of operational / sales experience
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and listening skills
• Creative, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Solid PC skills including MS Project, Outlook, Word and Excel

Preferred

• Experience in managing activities
• Understands manufacturing & warehouse operations
• Creative Writing skills
